DSP Needed in Lansdale PA $23.00/hr Lansdale, PA 19446 $23 an hour - Part-time $23 an hour - Part-time We are seeking an experienced and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with an adult male client in Lansdale, PA. The client has an intellectual disability and communicates primarily with single-word responses. While verbal communication is limited, he understands directions and is generally able to express his needs. He is a pleasant individual with a straightforward support plan and enjoys participating in community activities.

Interests and Activities Include:

Watching YouTube videos and listening to music on his phone with headphones Taking walks outdoors Visiting the mall Completing puzzles Working on word and math activities Enjoying meals and community outings When he does not have access to his phone or headphones, he may engage in self-stimulatory behaviors such as singing loudly.

Support Responsibilities:

Providing companionship and community participation support Transporting the client to activities, appointments, and community outings Assisting with daily living skills as needed Occasional assistance with personal hygiene, including bathroom support and wiping when necessary Encouraging independence while providing appropriate supervision and support The client is largely independent and completes most tasks on his own, requiring support primarily for community access, guidance, and occasional personal care needs.

Schedule:

4 days per week Days are flexible and can be discussed Hours are flexible; however, all shifts will begin at 8:00

AM Requirements:

Previous DSP or related caregiving experience preferred Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle Current car insurance Current vehicle registration Current vehicle inspection Dependable, patient, and compassionate $200 Bonus in 1st check if all hiring requirments met wihtin 3 days of hire

$23.00 per hour
