Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, is hiring caring and dependable Personal Care Aides for year-round employment. Full-time and part-time positions (year-round) are typically available, on all shifts. Personal Care Aides must be at least age 18, with a high school diploma or G.E.D. One year of related experience is required. Newly-hired Personal Care Aides are eligible for competitive pay rates and generous shift differentials ($3.00 extra per hour on the evening shift, $2.00 extra per hour on the night shift, plus $1.00 extra per hour on weekends). Personal Care Aides receive an additional $1.50 per hour if they become Certified Med. Techs. during employment. We provide on-site Med. Tech. training! Personal Care Aides serve as an integral part of a care team, providing assistance to our older adult Residents with activities of daily living and working cooperatively with LPN's and RN's. Brethren Village PCA's have the opportunity to establish caring relationships with our Residents. Typical Work Schedules Full-time, benefits-eligible, 37.5 hours per week, year-round: day, evening, or overnight shift; work days will vary a bit from week to week, and typically include every other weekend and holiday Part-time, year-round: part-time schedules are typically available on all shifts
