Home Care Aid(Temporary)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Aid to provide assistance to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving the quality of life for clients by offering support with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. As a Home Care Aid, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need extra help maintaining independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare and serve meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences. Help clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain comfort and safety. Monitor and record client's health status, including changes in physical condition, and report concerns to healthcare professionals or family members. Provide companionship and engage in activities that enhance the emotional well-being of clients. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing. Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed. Ensure a safe and clean living environment for the client.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (certification or training in home care preferred). Prior experience in a caregiving role (such as personal care aide, home health aide, or similar). Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene principles. Ability to lift and assist clients as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving. Ability to follow care plans and work independently or as part of a team.

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
