The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is essential in providing both personal care and companionship, while also managing various household tasks. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Provide patient care, including monitoring health conditions and administering first aid when necessary. Support clients with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring dietary needs are met. Help with heavy lifting and mobility assistance as required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage in meaningful conversation and activities to promote emotional well-being. Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times. Offer direct support in hospice care or home health settings when needed. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or as a personal assistant is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques is beneficial. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. This position requires a proactive individual who can adapt to the unique needs of each client while providing high-quality support in their daily lives.
