This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver/Homecare Aide, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure quality care tailored to each person's unique needs. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking Support patients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations for privacy Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to ensure safe mobility and transfers Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Collaborate with healthcare professionals on care plans and report any concerns related to patient health or safety Qualifications Previous experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Alzheimer's or dementia care are highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for home visits Join our team as a Caregiver/Homecare Aide if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving.
