JOB SUMMARY

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for experienced caregivers with a passion for client care and relationship building. Our caregiver-first philosophy will change the way you think about your career in home care. Our caregivers are expected to provide the highest level of service to our clients — from light housework and meal preparation to assisting with hygiene and providing companionship.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply) Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties Must have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience with the senior population

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist with meal preparation and feeding Assist with mobility and transfers Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients Follow care plans and communicate any changes in condition to the appropriate staff

REQUIREMENTS

1 or more years of formal caregiving experience in senior care Reliable transportation Familiarity with basic first aid procedures Valid driver's license Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers Able to talk, hear, and see clearly Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

COMPENSATION

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$14-$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
