This role is vital in promoting independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing the quality of life for those with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering personalized care with a positive attitude. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of valuing and respecting our caregivers' contributions. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and changes in health status to ensure timely intervention Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining proper food safety standards Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Support clients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring a safe environment and engaging activities Conduct light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic living space to promote overall well-being Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet each individual's unique needs Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments with knowledge of patient care protocols Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Certified in CPR and First Aid; experience with emergency response procedures is highly desirable Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia; experience in hospice or memory care is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer equipment Excellent observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, families, and healthcare providers Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate care that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
