Caregiver Alliance For Help Quakertown, PA Job Details Part-time $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Working with individuals with cognitive disabilities Developmental disability care assistance Personal transportation assistance Disability services Full Job Description We're looking for a warm, dependable companion to spend time with a friendly, independent young woman with a mild intellectual disability who loves getting out and about in the community. This isn't a sit-at-home role - she's active and social, and she's looking for someone to share her favorite outings with: trips to the mall, movies, walks in the park, and more. She also loves to bake, so if that's your kind of fun, even better. We would love to find a Quakertown local resident for this position or someone who is familiar with Quakertown. What you'd do Accompany her on community outings a couple of times a week (mall, movies, parks, local events) Be a reliable, friendly presence - someone she can count on and enjoy spending time with Share activities she loves, like baking Support her independence while keeping outings safe and positive Schedule & hours We're starting at about two outings a week, roughly 4 hours each (~8 hours/week), scheduled on days that work around her own job. If a strong bond develops and there's interest in doing more together, hours can increase beyond 8.
