Caregiver Needed for Companion Care

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide companionship services to residents in a nursing facility. The primary role is to offer social interaction, emotional support, and encouragement while engaging residents in hobbies and daily activities. The caregiver will help residents feel comfortable, valued, and socially connected during each visit. (18 hours a week) 1020 S Main St, Quakertown, PA 18951

Key Responsibilities:

Engage residents in friendly conversation and meaningful social interaction. Participate in activities such as playing games, watching television, or supporting residents' hobbies. Assist residents with making phone calls or communicating with family and friends when needed. Provide emotional support, encouragement, and companionship. Observe residents and report any concerns or changes in well-being to facility staff or the agency. Follow all facility and agency policies, procedures, and care plans.

Qualifications:

Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and maintain resident confidentiality. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
