Caregiver Needed for Companionship

Job Summary:

We are seeking caring and reliable caregivers to provide companionship care to residents at a nursing facility. The main goal is to offer social interaction, encouragement, and support for residents' hobbies and daily activities, helping them feel engaged and comfortable in their environment.

Schedule:

2 hours per visit, 3 visits per week (18 hrs a week)

Key Responsibilities:

Spend time talking and engaging in conversation with residents. Play games, watch TV, or participate in hobbies and activities with residents. Make phone calls or assist residents with communication as needed. Provide emotional support and encouragement. Observe and report any changes in residents' well-being to the facility staff or agency. Follow facility and agency policies, procedures, and care plans.

Qualifications:

Compassionate, patient, and attentive. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and maintain resident confidentiality. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
