Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized care and support. This role requires a blend of practical caregiving skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, especially for those with Alzheimer's or dementia. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Ability to perform patient observation and monitoring effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members. Capability to handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. A compassionate approach towards providing care for seniors or individuals with disabilities is essential.
