Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a local first and second shifts available, weekend compassionate and dedicated Caregivers with dementia, alzheimer and Parkinson's caring experience to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personalized care in their homes or community settings. This position requires a positive, nurturing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and memory care requirements. Duties Provide direct support and personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Help clients with mobility and lifting as necessary to promote independence and safety. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance their emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to develop care plans tailored to individual needs. Support clients with memory care strategies and techniques to improve cognitive function. Experience Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or related fields is required; training will be provided. Familiarity with home community care practices is beneficial. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings is a plus. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that accommodate dietary restrictions is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients are essential.
