Role Overview Our caregivers provide non-medical support that builds trust, brings reassurance, and fosters genuine companionship—supporting individuals in maintaining their independence, dignity, and well-being in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities vary by assignment and are discussed in advance.

Responsibilities may include:

Companionship, lifestyle, and wellness support Assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Meal preparation and light housekeeping Support with mobility and daily routines Dementia-aware care and supervision Medication reminders (non-medical only) Accompaniment to appointments and outings Emotional support, engagement, and social connection Schedule Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available Part-time and full-time opportunities Assignments based on client needs, caregiver availability, and preferred travel radius Benefits of being part of the Velora Home Care Team Work close to home
