Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, Sitters, and Companions to provide exceptional support and companionship to individuals in various care settings. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting well-being for clients across home, community, and facility-based environments. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns promptly Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility protocols Engage clients in social activities or companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Follow all safety procedures including CPR, first aid, and emergency response protocols Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care planning Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team of caring professionals committed to providing outstanding support that enhances independence and dignity.
