This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-age children while also helping maintain an organized and smoothly running home. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing childcare responsibilities with household support. Duties and Responsibilities Assist with morning routines and school readiness Prepare breakfast and light meals as needed Provide safe transportation to and from school, activities, and appointments Supervise and engage with a school-age child through age-appropriate activities and conversations Manage the child's laundry, linens, and clothing organization Grocery shop and run household errands Assist with scheduling and preparation for extracurricular activities, including gymnastics Help prepare for family travel and special events Support general household organization and maintenance Provide light family meal preparation when needed Communicate effectively with parents and work independently while they work from home Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of professional childcare, family assistant, or household management experience Experience working with school-age children Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to take initiative Reliable, dependable, and highly consistent Warm, engaging personality with a genuine interest in working with children Ability to provide both nurturing care and age-appropriate structure Comfortable working in a home where parents may be working remotely Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Verifiable professional and personal references Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire) High school diploma required; college degree preferred Authorized to work in the United States without restriction Committed to legal, professional employment
