Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and able to create effective outcomes? We are actively seeking a full-time Agency Manager to join our team. This is a remote role but you must live in the Knoxville or immediate surrounding area. We are a leading in-home care agency, providing non-medical personal care services to the elderly and frail. We are contractors with the state of Tennessee, Medicaid, and The Department of Labor. A successful candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, organized, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills (as you will interact with clients, staff, and stakeholders).
Responsibilities Human Resources :
Lead the Agency's staffing needs with hiring and ensuring that qualified candidates are in our pipeline. Manage interviews, create job postings, review resumes, schedule interviews, and track data on recruitment metrics to ensure best practices. Lead staff on-boarding including orientation, new hire reporting, and entering information in applicable systems (including for background checks, applications, and all necessary paperwork). Support employee engagement and a positive employee environment through timely and conscientious responses with employees on HR-related inquiries.
Client Services:
Coordinate and manage client care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with family and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care is rendered. Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
Client and Caregiver Communication:
You will be responsible for answering incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, quickly responding to client and caregiver needs. Your role includes filling client shifts according to designated scheduling processes, communicating any changes in client shifts to both clients and caregivers, and addressing any concerns that may arise.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. Collaborates with the Administrator to make recommendations and adjustments when appropriate to achieve objectives and set goals.
Sales and Marketing :
Responsible for local outreach and networking within the aging community and participates in regular meetings including presentations of services. Outreach will include to Assisted Living, Senior Day Care facilities, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and the overall East Tennessee community. Responsible to monitor and report all competitive activity and trends within the East TN area and stay abreast on trends affecting the elderly.
Administrative / Back up:
Partner to assist with timely payroll processing and update employee information. Submit client invoices, receive and compile time sheets, submit reimbursements as needed, along with general office duties. Provide agency backup support if a Caregiver calls out. Maintain regulatory compliance by preparing for audits, managing documentation accurately, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in healthcare management or medical management within a home health or similar setting. High level of integrity and able to provide privacy to our clients. Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Effective written and oral communication skills.
