Senior Home Care/ Mission Home Health | Madison, WI / Dane County About Us Mission Home Health was built from a foundation of care that already exists. We offer personal care, supportive home care, and respite services, with the goal of helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and respected in their own homes. Position Overview This is a part-time RN Supervisor role focused on clinical oversight rather than direct patient care. You will serve as the clinical authority ensuring care plans are appropriate, caregivers are properly trained, and services are delivered safely and in compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities Review and approve care plans for new clients (approximately 1-2 hours per client) Review and approve caregiver task instructions (approximately 30 minutes per client; updated every 60 days) Conduct supervisory home visits every 60 days to observe care delivery and ensure compliance (approximately 1 hour per visit, including travel) Update care plans based on changes in client condition Validate and document caregiver competency for assigned ADL tasks Review and approve higher-acuity cases prior to service acceptance (e.g., fall risk, transfers, advanced dementia) Administrative Support Provided (include this even if it's unrelated because most competent RN candidates main concern is getting looped into the deeper management) To allow you to focus on clinical oversight, our team manage s: Scheduling and staffing coordination Family communication and day-to-day updates Caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and management Billing, intake, and administrative processes No on-call or after-hours responsibilities
Qualifications Required:
Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, or a related setting Experience or training in personal care servicesPreferred:
Experience working with the geriatric population Familiarity with dementia care Experience developing or reviewing care plans and caregiver instructions Ability to work independently in a home-based environment Knowledge of WisconsinDHS 105.17
