Job Description

GREATER ISHPEMING COMMISSION ON AGING IN-HOME SERVICES
Homemaking and Respite Care Objective of position: to provide Homemaking and or Respite Care services for seniors residing in the townships of Republic, Michigamme and Champion. Perform light housekeeping tasks for assigned clients (vacuuming, scrubbing, dusting, mopping, clean bathrooms, grocery shopping, etc.) according to service plan. Attendant care (client is not bed-bound) - providing companionship to support caregiver and assist with activities of daily living. Requires use of licensed and insured private vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided. Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, reach overhead and may require lifting more than 20 pounds. Looking for an individual who is reliable, a self -starter and who enjoys working with seniors. Current Wage is $16.40/Hour Applications are available at: 121 Greenwood St. Ishpeming, MI 49849
