CareOne Group is in search of the perfect Shared Living Provider for a Individual with specific needs by becoming an independent contractor with CareOne Group. Being a Shared living provider requires you to share your life with an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities in your home. You will provide a safe and caring environment for a person with disabilities in this unique work from home opportunity.

PLEASE NOTE

We are searching for an SLP with at least one adult male in the home with NO PETS and

NO CHILDREN

in the home. This individual is on the DD waiver at an intermediate level. This individual attends a day program Monday-Friday 8am-3pmMust have Medication Aide Certification. What we'll do: Help match with an individual that works well with your household. Provide training on care and documentation. Provide support both when issues arise and when they're going well. What you'll do: Work with the individual's team to create a person center plan to work on goals that fit with the needs of the person. Provide a safe and stable environment. Provide care in a way that meets the needs of the individual and the requirements of the state which could include providing transportation, accompanying them to doctors appointments, assisting in daily living skills, meal planning and preparation, and implementing programs in accordance with state regulations. Document on progress daily.

Requirements:

Must be 19 or older Valid driver's license and registration Reliable transportation Ability to pass State/Federal and APS/CPS background check Active home/renters and car insurance Reliable computer and internet access Completion of all required trainings Environmentally safe and clean residence Spare bedroom(s) for individual(s) to reside Must disclose all persons (family or otherwise) residing in your home (•DHHS requires background screens for any residence over 13) Preferred but not required: Bilingual Nursing care experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Handicap accessible home (preferred)

Compensation:

As an independent contractor you will receive a daily tax-exempt stipend, plus room and board.
