PASS Workers provide one-on-one support to children and teens with special needs in their home and community. This role focuses on teaching skills, encouraging independence, and supporting each child's growth in areas such as social, communication, and daily living skills. This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone interested in working with children, education, human services, or healthcare. We are hiring for multiple locations across Rhode Island, and scheduling is flexible to meet family and staff needs. Current openings include - Johnston, Cumberland, Woonsocket and Lincoln . Responsibilities Provide direct support to children with developmental disabilities in their home or community Work on individualized goals (social skills, daily living skills, independence, etc.) Encourage positive behavior and skill-building through structured activities Maintain professionalism and clear communication with families and supervisors Document sessions and progress as required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred (not required—training provided) Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned families Must complete background check and necessary training prior to starting Benefits Flexible part-time schedules (great for students, parents, or second job) Rewarding, hands-on experience in human services/education Competitive hourly rate
