In this vital role, you will provide compassionate assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Your energy and empathy will help foster a positive community where everyone feels valued and cared for. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact on the lives you touch. Responsibilities Assist individual with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and lifting 90 pounds dead weight is Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety Support residents with memory care needs, including and care, utilizing behavior management techniques to promote comfort and stability Help with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining nutritional guidelines tailored to individual needs Maintain accurate documentation of care activities using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and report any changes in health or behavior promptly Engage residents in social activities and community outings, including driving when qualified and authorized Uphold cleanliness standards by assisting with light cleaning duties within personal living spaces and common areas Requirements Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable Knowledge of caring for individuals with disabilities, experience cna license or high school diploma in first aid and CPR is preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for transportation duties if required by the role Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us to empower individuals through compassionate care!
