Caregiver

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and care for in home services. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while delivering personalized care. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Support clients in daily living activities such as mobility, exercise, and recreational activities. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate staff or family members. Help with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Lift and transfer clients safely using proper techniques to prevent injury. Document care provided and maintain accurate records of services rendered. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home care, home care, or memory care is preferred. Knowledge of patient care practices and familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties. Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
