Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to support individuals in their daily lives within a variety of care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for helping others, along with experience in personal care and patient support. As a Caregiver , you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health status, and providing emotional support. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Provide medication reminders. Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and changes in health status to ensure timely communication with healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including specialized diets such as Alzheimer's or dementia care. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organization. Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to prevent falls or injuries. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement personalized care plans that meet each client's unique needs. Requirements Prior experience in home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of caregiving procedures including assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training in dementia care or Alzheimer's care is advantageous. Ability to assist clients with mobility or transfers safely. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times. Strong communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and professionalism to foster trustful relationships with clients and their families.
