About Us:
Assisting Hands Home Care is a non-medical home care agency dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and quality of life at home. We provide personalized support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. We proudly serve families across York and Lancaster Counties in South Carolina and are part of a trusted national franchise organization with over 150 locations, combining local, personalized care with the strength and resources of a nationally recognized brand.
Role Overview:
As a Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Home Care of Fort Mill, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure our clients maintain their independence and quality of life. Whether you work part-time or full-time, you'll have the flexibility to adjust to the needs of those you care for.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Provide meal preparation and medication reminders. Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a comfortable living environment. Offer companionship to clients to enhance their emotional well-being. Collaborate with family members and the Assisting Hands team to deliver coordinated care.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications such as HHA or CNA are a plus. Experience in caregiving or a related field. Strong verbal communication skills in English. Compassionate nature and a strong desire to help others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus If You:
Have CPR and First Aid certification. Possess additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care. Are familiar with electronic caregiving documentation.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position with flexible hours available, including weekdays and weekends.
Location:
This position is on-site only, based in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
