Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Caregiver to provide nurturing, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants in a childcare environment. As an Infant Caregiver, you will play a vital role in fostering growth, curiosity, and security for our youngest learners, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and warmth. This paid position is ideal for individuals committed to making a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Provide attentive care tailored to infants' individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and soothing. Create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning through age-appropriate activities. Monitor infants' health and safety continuously, adhering to all safety protocols and emergency procedures. Support developmental milestones by engaging in play that promotes motor skills, language acquisition, and social interaction. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, feeding schedules, sleep patterns, and developmental progress. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's well-being and developmental updates. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent caregiving practices and classroom management strategies. Experience Previous experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care is essential. Experience with classroom management, behavior management techniques, and caregiving routines enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Prior nannying or babysitting experience focusing on infant care can provide valuable insights into nurturing young children. Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
