Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children, individuals with disabilities, and seniors in various care settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This paid position is perfect for those dedicated to early childhood education, child development, and creating positive experiences for those under their care. Duties Provide attentive care to children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged kids, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Support individuals with disabilities by helping with mobility, personal care tasks, and daily activities while fostering independence Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and emotional development Maintain a clean and organized environment in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress or any concerns Apply first aid when necessary and follow proper protocols during emergencies or incidents Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience caring for infants and toddlers with an understanding of their specific needs Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported!
