Caregiver - Starting at $17/hr + $50
Sign-On Stipend Location:
Clemson / Pickens /
Oconee County, SC Pay:
Starting at $17.00 per hour (opportunity for increase based on experience, availability, and performance)
Schedule:
Full-time & Part-time | Flexible shifts available | 12-hour shifts / 36-hour week preferred Sign-On Incentive $50 sign-on stipend paid after completion of the first two weeks of employment with a minimum of 35 hours worked and no no-call/no-shows. Who We Are Home Matters Caregiving is a caregiver-focused, in-home care agency serving seniors and adults throughout Clemson, Pickens, Oconee, and surrounding Upstate South Carolina communities. We prioritize strong communication, consistent support, and long-term relationships with our caregivers. Job Summary We are seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers who are committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care. Our caregivers play a critical role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. What You'll Do Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry Offer companionship and emotional support Monitor client safety and report changes to the care team Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Minimum 1 years of caregiving experience (home care or facility-based) Must reside in South Carolina Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance First Aid certification required per DHEC (paid training provided if needed) Must pass background check and drug screening Dependable, punctual, and professional Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $17.00 per hour Opportunity for pay increases based on experience, availability, and performance Weekly pay Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation and training Holiday pay Performance-based raises $50 sign-on stipend after first two weeks (35+ hours worked, no no call/no shows)
