Job Description
About us Dynamic Healthcare at Home is a small business in Spartanburg, SC. We are dedicated, agile and professional.
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Flexible working hours Safe work environment On-the-job training We are looking to fill positions Landrum, SC. Monday- Sunday shifts available Monday-Sunday 3hr shifts Monday-Friday 5hr shifts Monday & Thursday 7hr shifts
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in their homes or in a care facility
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfer of clients using proper lifting and transfer techniques
- Follow care plans and ensure the well-being and safety of clients
- Promote and maintain resident rights, dignity, privacy, and independence
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or elderly population is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hospice care is an asset
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Proficient in using systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Ability to lift and move clients safely using proper body mechanics
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between client locations
