Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and health management. This vital role involves providing personalized care in clients' homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver attentive, respectful, and professional assistance tailored to each person's unique needs, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by checking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns Administer medication accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and engaging them in meaningful activities Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas to promote a safe and hygienic environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans tailored to individual needs Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social interaction and mental well-being Experience Prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Experience using care equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids is a plus Strong background in long-term care settings with a focus on senior care or hospice support is advantageous Join us to provide essential home-based care that empowers individuals to live safely, comfortably, and independently.
