In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where clients feel valued and empowered. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing your skills in healthcare and social services. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any concerns promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, especially for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings Knowledge of patient care techniques including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and dementia or memory care strategies Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of client information Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, families, and clients' support networks Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility tasks; CPR and First Aid certifications preferred Experience working within care plans and supporting patients through personalized support strategies Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives! Pay:
