Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, including geriatrics and post-acute care, and will be committed to delivering high-quality care tailored to each client's unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients in mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition. Skills The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: Level II trauma center experience Hospital medicine expertise Emergency medicine knowledge Familiarity with Level I Trauma Centers Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Operating Room (OR) experience Geriatrics proficiency Medical-surgical background Inpatient care experience Teaching hospital experience Post-acute care experience Outpatient care skills Clinic experience Sub-acute care experience We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled but also passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they care for.
