Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful support in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, and home health environments. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those in your care. We are committed to paying all our team members fairly for their valuable contributions. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking to meet dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and infection control practices Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's safety equipment to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately and promptly Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home & community care, or group homes is highly desirable Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism enhances your ability to provide specialized support Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs measurement is essential Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate supportive equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Previous roles involving patient observation, social work principles, or long-term care contribute to success in this position Join us to make a positive difference every day!
