Job Description
Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing support within their own homes. This energetic and rewarding position involves providing personalized care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring safety and well-being. You will be a trusted companion and caregiver, delivering essential services that promote independence, dignity, and comfort for our clients. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, your dedication will make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and overall condition; report changes promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities or outings aligned with their interests Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care practices Certification in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Strong skills in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care planning Experience using mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts; capable of heavy lifting when necessary Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams Embark on a fulfilling career where your compassion meets action!
