In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care to clients across diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with clients in their own homes, delivering essential care with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental health and overall happiness. Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions in accordance with care plans. Support clients with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands. Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behavior promptly to supervisors or healthcare professionals. Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a secure environment. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to deliver consistent, personalized care tailored to each client's needs. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or home health services is preferred; experience with Level II trauma centers or hospital medicine is a plus. Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and post-acute care practices enhances your ability to respond effectively. Familiarity with geriatrics, medical-surgical care, outpatient clinics, or sub-acute settings demonstrates versatility in patient support. Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor are essential for building trusting relationships with clients. Ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude. Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous; ongoing training in emergency response is encouraged.
