Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients while promoting their independence and dignity. This position requires an upbeat, dedicated, and reliable professional with a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions or preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry. Assist with medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs. Support clients in engaging in social activities and community involvement. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Document care provided accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living environments is preferred.. Experience working with seniors who experience Alzheimer's disease, dementia is a plus. Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in behavior or health status effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients physically when needed. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols is beneficial. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
