Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medication following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients in engaging with community activities or social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being Skills Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong observational skills for monitoring patient condition and recognizing urgent needs Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while demonstrating compassion and patience Join us in delivering exceptional home care that transforms lives!
