Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Aide professionals to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Your energy and empathy will help create a warm, respectful environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive team. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration; report changes to healthcare professionals Support residents with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress accurately for care records and team communication Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout shifts Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions is desirable Demonstrated understanding of patient monitoring techniques and working within HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality Join our team to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
