Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and personal care. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care within clients' homes or community settings. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those in need, ensuring they feel supported and valued every day. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support patients during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely to transfer clients with mobility challenges Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans for each client Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of health deterioration or emergencies Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or hospice care is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide empathetic patient-centered care Join us in making a meaningful difference!
