Full-time Family Assistant

A warm, grounded, faith-based family in Southeast Franklin is seeking a proactive, dependable Family Assistant to help support the day-to-day flow of their home and family life. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, naturally notices what needs attention, enjoys creating order and calm, and feels comfortable stepping into a dynamic, ever-changing family environment with flexibility and initiative. Mom and dad both maintain full schedules while raising three kids (ages 10, 5, and 2). The heart of this position is providing attentive, reliable support to the family while helping reduce mental load, support logistics, and create consistent household support so the home continues functioning smoothly. The ideal candidate enjoys both childcare and household management and feels confident shifting between the two throughout the day. While much of the position will revolve around helping with day-to-day family needs and supporting the overall rhythm of the home, larger household management tasks and organizational projects will often be assigned dedicated time blocks throughout the week so they can receive full attention. This family values kindness, emotional maturity, clear communication, and dependability. They are looking for someone warm, calm, proactive, and capable of operating independently while bringing a true support-system mentality to the home.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Assisting with childcare needs throughout the day as needed Driving children to and from school, activities, and appointments Supporting family logistics, scheduling, and day-to-day household flow Laundry for the family, including washing, folding, and putting away Tidying and resetting shared living spaces throughout the day Organizing household spaces including pantries, children's rooms, toys, drawers, and common areas Maintaining household inventory and running household lists Grocery shopping and putting away grocery deliveries Unpacking deliveries, occasional errands, and returns Assisting with dishes and general household upkeep Helping maintain overall household order Make vendor calls and appointments, as needed Light meal prep

Schedule:

40 hours per week guaranteed (hours below include lunch breaks) 2 days/week: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM 3 days/week: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Additional flexibility during busy seasons, occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime is appreciated and will always be communicated in advance. Travel is not required for this position, but openness to occasional travel alongside the family is considered a major plus.

Compensation:

$30+ hour
