Job Description

•Please read this entire job description before applying•I have a diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II and I am hiring personal assistants to join my care team. I am looking for people who are comfortable providing personal care and who are also willing to be my hands in my everyday life. My disability is much like paralysis from the neck down. However, my mind functions just fine and I am very capable.
Applicants must be:
Compliant in a smoke-free home. LGBTQIA+ friendly. 21 years of age or older. Drug and alcohol-free. Carrier of a valid TN Driver's License. Able to pass a federal background check. Be certified or be willing to get certified in CPR, AED and First Aid . Personal Care aspects of this job can include assisting with: Personal hygiene and dressing. Transferring via electric ceiling lift (no heavy lifting required). Meal preparation. Eating and drinking. Light housekeeping. Care for pets. I run my own small business (Rainbow Promise Sphynx Cattery) and sometimes need "hands" for the physical aspects of my work. I am currently hiring for the following shifts: Sunday 11pm-5am (overnight) Monday 11pm-5am (overnight) Thursday 11pm-5am (overnight) These are the guaranteed shifts and there's the opportunity for you also as an optional backup for additional shifts when needed. Compensation is $19+ per hour. Pay is every two weeks through the
