Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team, committed to providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents or clients by delivering personalized care with kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met according to care plans Support medication administration under supervision or as authorized, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of prescribed treatments Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document patient observations, care activities, and any incidents thoroughly to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care experience are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or other special needs populations is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining compassion and patience Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols related to patient monitoring and home health standards Join us to become part of a dedicated team that values compassionate caregiving!
