As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents, clients, or patients by delivering personalized care in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement homes, or home care environments. Your energetic approach and genuine concern will foster a warm, safe, and engaging environment for those under your care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in health and social support. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support individuals with dementia or memory care needs through specialized activities and behavior management techniques Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and mobility aids to promote safety during transfers and movement Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry Document care activities efficiently using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate updates to healthcare teams Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and mental well-being Drive clients or residents to appointments or community outings when required Skills Proven experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or personal care homes Knowledge of assisted living practices and home & community care standards Strong understanding of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and behavioral management strategies Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently and respond effectively in emergencies Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support Competence in taking vital signs accurately and recognizing health concerns promptly Familiarity with medication administration protocols and EMR systems for documentation Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach Ability to operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts safely and efficiently Valid driver's license for driving clients or residents when needed Join us in making a positive impact on lives every day!
