Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents, patients, and clients by delivering personalized care with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energy, attention to detail, and genuine compassion will help create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for those in your care. Duties Assist residents or patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report changes to healthcare professionals Administer medications following prescribed care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support memory care and dementia patients through specialized activities, supervision, and compassionate engagement Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain cleanliness of living or care areas by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely to assist with heavy lifting or transfers while preventing injury Experience Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Hands-on experience with patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities highly desirable Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards essential for protecting patient information Experience in creating or following personalized care plans aligned with healthcare provider instructions Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people with autism or other disabilities in a caring manner Prior training or certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as group home experience or social work background are advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values compassion, professionalism, and the drive to improve lives.
