Job Description
Overview We are seeking a trustworthy caregiver that will care for our clients with professionalism, and compassion wherever the clients call home. The caregiver will be responsible for implementing our clients' daily care plan in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards. Duties Caregivers will provide compassionate companionship by engaging clients in friendly conversation, offering emotional reassurance, and initiating activities that promote mental stimulation and enjoyment. Caregivers will complete or assist with essential shopping and errands such as grocery purchases, picking up prescriptions, mailing items, or obtaining household necessities. Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments. Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs. Caregivers will support clients with safe, steady ambulation by offering an appropriate level of physical assistance, using gait belts when required, and ensuring mobility aids such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs are used correctly. Assist clients with personal care and hygiene. Implementing the care plan as instructed Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service. Requirement
- CNA License (not required, but is a plus)
- Valid Driver's license, or State ID
- Knowledge of home management skills
- Must have a consistent way to get to work
- High School Diploma or GED (not required, but a plus)
- Genuine Desire to help seniors
- A professional and friendly attitude
