Overview This summer, join our vibrant caregiving team and make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a valued team member, you will deliver essential care services that promote independence, safety, and well-being. This paid opportunity offers flexible scheduling and a chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment committed to your growth and fulfillment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Non- Medical in Home Health Care Support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Support clients with medication reminders following care plans and HIPAA regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in condition Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance (only when needed with certain clients) Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health agency, nursing home, or group home settings is required. Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, and knowledge of vital signs is a PLUS!!
