This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, helping clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers safely Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and updates for care plans Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in home or community settings Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks necessary for patient support Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental challenges is advantageous Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the role Join us in making a positive impact by providing compassionate home care that enhances quality of life.
