This rewarding role involves providing compassionate, personalized assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being within clients' homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a vital part of a team committed to delivering exceptional care that enhances quality of life for those we serve. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help create a safe, supportive environment where clients can thrive. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, noting vital signs and changes in condition to ensure safety and well-being Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities or outings, fostering independence and social interaction Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with privacy standards Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism or other special needs is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate assistive devices safely Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
