Job Description

Care Giver for In Home Care This is a 1 hour shift, 7 days a week. Skilled care giver needed for the most precious veteran. Administering a bed bath bath, getting readied for the day, then transferred from his bed into his chair using a sit to stand assist. This is typical an early morning shift (7a) Weekly Pay Personal Care...
Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Medications reminders
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
  • Drive clients to appointments, errands, and social outings as required
Skills:
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
  • Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
  • Proficient in medication administration and following prescribed protocols
  • Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies
  • Basic nursing skills, such as wound care and catheter care, are a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
  • Knowledge of home care practices and techniques

Summary As an In Home Caregiver, you will be essential in providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. Reporting to the Care Manager, your core responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals, including those with autism. Your premium skills in patient observation, medication administration, and wound care will be vital in delivering high-quality support. Additionally, your experience in home and community care, along with your knowledge of HIPAA regulations, will help maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
