• Part-time, Full-time Position Summary Harmony Health is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver, preferably Female (Direct Support Professional) to provide support for a female member in Madison, TN.

This position is 25 hours per week. The member you would be supporting is oriented and requires help with ADLs (shopping, laundry, bathing, and light housekeeping).

Responsibilities / Job

Duties Assist member with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dining skills, housekeeping, grocery shopping, social skills, and community access. Provide direct support and assist with individualized training activities as outlined in the member's ISP (Individual Support Plan). Assist with meal preparation and promote social skills during meals. Monitor medications and treatments according to company policy. Support member in maintaining her home environment, including basic housekeeping. Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of the member at all times. Complete accurate documentation, observation notes, and daily reports. Attend and successfully complete required in-service training. Treat member with dignity and respect, promoting independence and choice. Provide transportation and mobility support as needed. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a non-smoker and live in a smoke-free home. Must be comfortable with dogs (service dog and pets present in home). Satisfactory completion of criminal background checks and any other required screenings. Strong communication skills (oral and written). Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities strongly preferred. Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred. CPR certification is a plus.

Schedule:

25 hours per week.
