Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. This role is vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for residents or clients in various care settings, including assisted living, home health, or group homes. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to ensure each individual receives respectful and personalized care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients for changes in health status, including vital signs and behavioral cues Administer medication following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as necessary Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning tasks to promote hygiene and comfort Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to safely assist with mobility and transfers Document patient observations, care activities, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA regulations Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's), or memory care needs Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's (personal equipment) Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members Experience working with care plans, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful resident-centered support Join us in delivering high-quality caregiving that transforms lives!
